Mercurial Tech entrepreneur Inigo Frank has made commercial time travel a reality. It’s tightly regulated, staggeringly expensive, and open only to the super-rich. So far, just one route has been approved: a journey back to London in 1941, allowing wealthy tourists to experience the Blitz firsthand.

To commemorate the achievement, Frank invites award-winning filmmaker Phoebe Hunt to document the venture. On her first day, she witnesses a group of time tourists return from the past — bloodied, traumatized, and missing one of their number.

Phoebe recognizes the missing woman. And she knows that she is not who she claims to be, and that she may have had her own devastating reasons for wanting to travel back in time.

As events spiral in the present, it becomes clear that the past has not stayed buried and that the consequences of rewriting history may be closer, and far more personal, than Phoebe could ever have imagined.
